For 25 years, Headwaters has been a well respected paddle-sport Outfitter. All river staff positions are a dynamic, hands-on, customer service role. We seek outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated team players to fill our seasonal and year-round positions.
River Staff positions at Headwaters Outfitters, are not all just about customer service. A lot of things go into making the operation run the way it does. Guests must be informed exactly what to expect on river trips, safety orientation presentations, equipment issued, and transportation controlled. Boats need to be maintained, cleaned, stored, loaded and unloaded from trailers. The grounds need to be mowed and kept cleaned. We pride ourselves on keeping the great outdoors and our location clean and looking good! Staff will be expected to work most every weekend through the busy season. Shifts vary week to week, however, we work hard to be flexible with employees and their schedule needs.

We are looking for several outgoing and fun individuals who want an energetic summer job. Our river host will be responsible for daily cleaning, guest safety orientations, guest transportation, loading and unloading boats, grounds maintenance, and other daily program needs. We need responsible individuals who understand the importance of customer communication and safety. We strive to provide a fun and relaxed environment while working hard to keep daily programs running smoothly. General knowledge of the area is preferred but not required. Must be 21 years old.
Our shop host will be the first line of communication between Headwaters and our guest. We are looking for individuals who can learn and understand our reservation and point of sale systems. From online reservations to retail purchases, these individuals need to be comfortable with computers. Our shop host should be ready to answer questions about all the programs at Headwaters and know how to help with inventory sales in the retail shop. Shop host will be in charge of keeping the retail shop clean and organized and help with traffic control, ensuring guest know where to go next, where to park, ect. If you’re an energetic customer service driven person interested in the outdoor industry and/or retail this is a great opportunity for you.
